New Shipbuilding Materials, Part Three,

Abstract

Shipbuilding applications of rubbers and vulcanized rubbers are classified by service conditions and types of products. The main trends in these applications are outlined. The principal indicators of the properties of rubbers and vulcanized rubbers are presented. Also covered are heat-indicating paints and pencils, varnishes for phosphors and electrophosphors, daylight fluorescent paints, electrified, dust-repelling paints, and paints for the interiors of shop rooms at shipbuilding enterprises.
