Air Pollution as a Result of the Application of the Insecticide Antio by Tractors and Aircraft to the Cottonfields of Uzbekistan,

Abstract

The rapid growth of cotton cultivation in Uzbekistan is connected with the widespread application of chemical and biological insecticides. As a result, the hygienists of Uzbekistan are faced with the need to resolve a number of hygiene problems, among which one of the most important is the study of the environmental pollution which threatens the health not only of the agricultural workers themselves, but also that of the population of the cotton-producing areas. The report discusses these problems.
