Study on Shock Polarization of Polymers,

Abstract

To further study the physics of electrical shock polarization processes, comparative experiments were undertaken on a series of polymers and molding powders. With respect to structure all polymers are either linear heterogeneous-chain or carbon-chain. A polyamide resin has the greatest dipole moment value, polyethylene and polytetrafluoroethylene the least. (Author, modified-PL).
