On the Stability Properties of an Equation Arising in Reactor Dynamics.

Abstract

The stability of a system of integradifferential equations which arise as dynamic models of one-dimensional continuous-medium nuclear reactors is studied. It is shown that the system generates a nonlinear co-semigroup on a Hilbert space, and extensions of Liapunov's Direct Method are then applied to obtain conditions for the asymptotic behavior of the solutions.
