Infrared Spectroscopic Studies of Low Pressure Electronics Discharges

Abstract

Emission spectra of low pressure, large volume electronic discharges in air, oxygen, and nitrogen are described. Problems arising from an attempt to observe excited ozone at 9.6 micrometers are discussed in detail. Sample spectra in the 2 micrometers wavelength are presented.
