Bypass Turbojet Engine Noise Characteristics on the Test Stand,

Abstract

The report examines the acoustic characteristics of the primary noise sources of BTJE operating on the test stand. The acoustic characteristic concepts are discussed and methods for computational determination of these characteristics are given. Information is presented on the noise excitation mechanisms. The data of experimental studies of the noise of BTJE with bypass ratio y = 0 -- 6 are analyzed.
