Keep Track of Many Things.
Abstract
Recent laboratory research on man's ability to keep track mentally of rapidly changing situations has been reviewed, and analogies to the real world have been drawn to illustrate the relevance of the information gleaned. The implications of the work for popular theories of short-term memory were also discussed.
