Engineering Performance and 50,000 Mile Durability Testing of NSU and Mazda Rotary Engine Vehicles.

Abstract

The evaluation of the potential for military application of two rotary engines and power trains was carried out on NSU RO-80 and Mazda R-100 test vehicles. The test program consisted of two parts, instrumented performance tests and the accumulation of 50,000 durability miles over a 30% city, 70% highway course.
