Computer Performance Evaluation.
Abstract
This report describes the progress made under the contract during the period 1 January 1974 through 31 December 1974. The reports produced during this period were: Computer network usage - cost/benefit analysis - I; On some statistical estimation problems relating to communication message reliability; Experiments in communication networks; Generalized cost/performance trade-off analysis; Guidelines for the acquisition of software packages; System evaluation techniques for error detection; On the evaluation of reliability and security measures in a network. These reports are highlighted here. The detailed results are discussed in the respective papers.
