A Universal Flight Director Computer.

Abstract

A technique is proposed which will make the flight director computer performance independent of aircraft dynamics, wind or aircraft position relative to the navigation beam. The control law proposed will compensate for all such variables with an error correcting mechanism. This technique results in a computer that is universal in its application.
