Passivity Experiments on Hydrazine Fueled Satellite Propulsion Subsystems

Abstract

The absence of a generally accepted state-of-art for conditioning or passivating monopropellant hydrazine satellite propulsion subsystems prompted the implementation of a small-scale program involving experimental and analytical efforts to assess the need for and effectiveness of procedures presently employed by contractors practicing the technique.
