A Consumer Evaluation of the Experimental Food Service System at Travis AFB, California.

Abstract

Interview surveys of dining facility customers were completed at Travis AFB, California, both prior to and during a food service experiment, to assess the differences in their ratings and opinions as one measure of the effectiveness of a variety of proposed changes being evaluated by the experiment. It is concluded that these changes favorably affect consumer acceptance and satisfaction with the consequent effect of promoting increased attendance and utilization of the dining halls.
