Low Power Impact Velocity and Acceleration Recording System with Piezoelectric Inputs

Abstract

The report describes the development of two low power solid state signal conditioning units and associated piezoelectric transducers which when coupled with a previously developed magnetic tape recorder form a system used to measure and record the impact velocity and impact deceleration experienced by containers during shipment.
