Stress Analysis of the M557 PD Fuze.

Abstract

Parameter investigation was performed for the M557 Fuze. Numerous analyses were formulated, such as dimensional, motion, and stress: however, only the stress analysis is discussed in this report. The attempt outlined in this report was not to derive new methods of analyzing stresses; instead it was to use conventional stress methods and to obtain results with the aid of the computer.
