Oxidation of Ammonia in Air Behind a Normal Shock,

Abstract

Development in the technology of shock tubes made it possible to achieve significant successes in the study of high-temperature exothermal reactions in gases. The mechanism of the oxidation reaction of ammonia has not been established, and various authors treat the available facts differently. In this work, different kinetic schemes of the process are analyzed in addition to the traditional measurements of the induction time of the reaction.
