Use of Meteorological Field Matching Methods and Optimal Interpolation for Four-Dimensional Analysis,

Abstract

One of the aspects of the problem of four-dimensional analysis consists of developing methods of matching information obtained from various sources and, if possible, with various degrees of accuracy. As just such a problem we can use the one-time application of observation data and the results of numerical forecasting. One of the approaches to solving this problem is based on the use of the optimum interpolation method, specifically, on the use of optimum matching.
