Some Problems of the Numerical Study of Elasto-Plastic Waves in Solids,
Abstract
In the present work the following problems are discussed: (1) Problems connected with increasing the accuracy of the solution as a result of the introduction of linear strain distribution along the element and computation of geometric nonlinearity; (2) Problems connected with the realization of equations of state for elastoplastic media; and (3) Problems connected with the use of artificial viscosity in equations of motion.
