Proceedings of the Aeronautical Systems Software Workshop Held at the Sheraton-Dayton Hotel, Dayton, Ohio on 2-3-4 April 74,

Abstract

A Workshop on Aeronautical Systems Software was held in April 1974 under the sponsorship of Headquarters Air Force Systems Command. The objectives of the workshop were to: (1) determine the state-of-the-art in the development of aeronautical systems software; (2) identify the major problems in this area; and (3) offer potential solutions to these problems. Participants were invited from the Department of Defense, civilian industry and aerospace research activities. Over 350 persons participated. A total of seven invited and 60 contributed papers were presented as opening positions for subsequent discussion. Summaries of these papers as well as the papers themselves are contained in the proceedings.
