Finite-Amplitude Noise, Diffraction of an N Wave by a Circular Aperture, and Vertical Propagation of Finite-Amplitude Waves in the Ocean.

Abstract

Basic research on finite amplitude sound waves has been carried out during 1973-74. The following three separate projects are summarized: propagation of finite-amplitude noise, diffraction of an N wave by a circular aperture, and propagation of plane waves of finite amplitude in inhomogeneous media with applications to vertical propagation in the ocean.
