Study of a Charged Condensing Cesium Amalgam Vapor Jet.

Abstract

A study of the production and charging of a cesium-amalgam colloid was undertaken in order to ascertain the feasibility of its use in a high temperature two fluid electro-fluid dynamic power system. Light scattering techniques were applied to the study of the condensation process in a cesium-amalgam vapor jet upon mixing with a cold nitrogen background gas.
