Design Verification Program Volumetric Tests Balloon SN 204.

Abstract

This technical report contains the results and data from the major chamber volumetric determinations of the Family IID-7A Balloon, SN 204. Both technique and pertinent equations for volumetric calculations are included. All volumetric tests were conducted with breathing air as a pressurized source gas. Breathing air is made from the appropriate quantities of LO2 and LN2. The information contained is relevant to the assessment of balloon system dynamic response in flight.
