Flight Control Actuator System Development.

Abstract

This report describes the following research tasks: The test and evaluation of a quadruplex redundant Pitch Axis Test Rig (PATR) to fully describe the hydraulic, mechanical and electronic technology contained therein; and the design of a Roll Axis Test Rig (RATR) to permit hardware simulation of quad redundant, force sharing, active standby, median select and split surface flight control system mechanizations that have high dynamic response.
