The Selection of a Method of Determination of Fracture Toughness on the Basis of Expert Opinions,

Abstract

A method for determining the optimal manner of testing the materials of turbine rotors and discs is described. A rank correlation method of assessing the opinions of experts is used and the contents and statistically analyzed results of the questionnaire employed are discussed.
