High-Temperature Sensors for Army Gas Turbine Engines

Abstract

The turbine blade temperature measuring system views the rotating turbine blades of a gas turbine engine, and by measuring the emitted, infrared radiation, it produces a processed signal directly proportional to the temperature of the blades.
