Management Studies and Their Impact on Naval Research,

Abstract

A brief review of 18 management studies, beginning with the Steelman report of 1947 and ending with the Commission on Government Procurement report of 1972, is provided. Major impacts on Naval R and D are discussed in many cases. A summary of conclusions and recommendations from many of these studies is given in the appendix.
