Generalization of Experience in the Operation of Posts for Observing the Chemical Composition of Atmosphere Air in Cities,

Abstract

The hydrometeorological service has been responsible for setting up a series of posts in cities for observing industrial pollution. These posts must be set up in suitable positions which take into account meteorological conditions, wind speed and direction, etc. Various devices and attachments have been developed for carrying out measurement and observation in extremely cold conditions. Air sampling has been quite successful but there is room for development and improvement of techniques.
