DCS System Control Concept Formulation.
Abstract
The report provides the Conceptual framework for the design of the DCS system control subsystem for the early 1980's and is intended to serve as the conceptual baseline for this design. The report includes a summary of guidance provided, the system control objectives, the subsystem conceptual structure, the operational concept, and transition considerations. An appendix is included containing summary information on various commercial digital transmission systems which were reviewed during the preparation of this report.
