Abstract

Appendix A of the Chesapeake Bay Existing Conditions Report contains chapters on economic history, population characteristics, economic sectors, and economic and demographic projections. The second half of this chapter lists current employment and income figures in the Bay Region. The chapter concerned with economic sectors includes an analysis of the manufacturing, public administration, agriculture, construction, mining, wholesale and retail trade, armed forces, transportation, communications, utilities, services, finance, insurance, and real estate industries.
