Research on an Asynchronous Electric Drive with a Symmetrical Thyristor in One Phase of the Stator,

Abstract

Research on an asynchronous electric drive was done with a symmetrical thyristor in one phase of the stator. With symmetrical resistances in the rotor circuit, the velocity adjustment range increased to 20, but was less with asymmetrical resistances. A direct-current tacho-generator should be used as a velocity sensor.
