Calculation of Surface Current on Perfectly Conducting Bodies of Arbitrary Shape.

Abstract

A numerical method was developed to solve for current distribution on perfectly conducting bodies due to aribtrarily impressed fields. The formulation of the problem was based on the method of moments in conjunction with the reaction matching technique. The current distribution was assumed to be linear combination of two dimensional piecewise sinusoidal functions. A computer program was written to demonstrate the feasibility of this technique for plane wave scattering problems.
