A Thyristor DC Switch,
Abstract
A switch for circuits having capacitive loads is described. The design differs from earlier configurations in that the small holding resistance is eliminated from the thyristor switching circuit and thermistor with a positive resistive temperature characteristic is employed. The design is intended to reduce power losses.
