Abstract
This monograph reports on advances in granulated explosives in the USSR and abroad. The composition and manufacturing technology of granulated explosives are described. Mechanization of the charging of blastholes and drillholes with granulated explosives used abroad is summarized. An account is given of the mechanization of blasthole and drillhole charging with granulated explosives in USSR mining enterprises. Mixer-chargers and chargers for underground work are surveyed. Opencut use of mixing devices and charging machines is summarized.
