An Automatic Charge-Discharge Device for Testing Storage Batteries,

Abstract

The article gives a description of and specifications for AZRU-17-0,8, an automatic charge-discharge device. It is used for charging and discharging various kinds of storage batteries with nominal voltages from 12-24 volts and charge currents up to 1.5 a. Discharge current ranges from 0.5 to 10 a. Charging takes place in two steps: first, charge current is stabilized; then, current decreases while charge voltage is stabilized.
