Cavitation Research in Paris: 'Vive la Difference'.

Abstract

Cavitation research at both the University of Paris and the Electicite de France is concentrated on the details of the bubble dynamics during growth and collapse. No work is done in the areas of partial and fully developed cavitation and the side effects of noise, vibration and performance degradation. The work being done is quite different, and perhaps complements the more classical efforts in cavitation research carried out at other facilities.
