Analysis of Flow in a Bistable Fluidic Element to Imrpove its Characteristics,

Abstract

The effect of bistable fluidic element chamber geometry on the reattachment distance is analyzed. A formula for estimating this distance is suggested. The distribution of jet velocity downstream the reattachment point is measured with an optical anemometer.
