Calculation of Changes in the Period of a Satellite Based on Synchronous Visual Observations,

Abstract

A description is given for determining the draconic period and acceleration of satellites. The acceleration can be calculated to within an accuracy of 0.001 sec if the interval between passages is not less than two days. As this interval increases, the accuracy also is increased.
