Development of Analytical Methods for the Determination of Experimental Antimalarials in Biological Fluids.

Abstract

Experimental work has been conducted to allow the development of analytical methods for the determination of antimalarial drugs in biological fluids. Spectrofluorometric, gas chromatographic, radioactive and liquid chromatographic techniques have been applied to the analysis of WR 33063, WR 122455 and WR 171669 in human plasma and red blood cells. All developmental work has been based upon the potential utility of such methods to the clinical trial of new drugs.
