The Treatment and Analysis of Cyanide Wastewater

Abstract

The report concerns the treatment of industrial wastes containing cyanides, especially wastes from electroplating processes. The prototype system treatment concept is essentially chlorination via electrolytic generation of chlorine in the waste water. Design and operating aspects are discussed. Other cyanide treatment processes are reviewed and analytical techniques are discussed.
