Rational Approximations to the Solution of Fredholm Integral Equations.

Abstract

The report explains an algorithm which was developed to construct the continued fraction solution to a class of nonlinear integral equations which, as special cases, included Fredholm's linear equation and an important non-linear equation which arises in the theory of radiative transfer.
