Superconducting Windings.
Abstract
Work performed to examine transient field losses in practical superconductors is reported. Experimental and theoretical papers and reports which have been generated under this contract and through related activities are listed. A tentative mathematical model is presented describing losses for supercondutors under operating conditions anticipated for naval applications, particularly as they relate to the Navy's program in superconducting electrical propulsion machinery.
