Investigation of the Optimum Form of Lifting Bodies in a Hypersonic Flow,

Abstract

The results are given of investigations of the optimum form of lifting bodies with predetermined geometric limitations - space, length, span. The pressure on the surface of the body was determined from Newton's formula, and friction was considered constant and independent of the form of body.
