Flow of Supersonic Flow About the Sphere of Ideal Gas,

Abstract

The results are given of the numerical flow-field analysis of a sphere in a mach number range of 1.5 to 1000 and specific heat ratios of the gas from 1.05 to 1.66. For a series of flows are given empirical similarity criteria which make it possible to present the results in analytical form.
