Flow of a Two-Phase Medium with Solid Particles Past a Thin Profile,

Abstract

The problem of a supersonic flow of a barotropic medium with solid particles past a profile in which the elastic collision of the particles against the surface of the profile is considered has practical significance in calculating the parameters of the stream which flows from a supersonic nozzle, the flight of bodies in gas-dust media, etc. The authors have examined the problem of the impact of particles against a wedge for a negligibly small volume of particles. Presented is a model of a two-phase medium flowing past a thin shape.
