A USAF Energy Consumption Projection Model

Abstract

This report discusses a computer model that can be used to project future energy needs for the Air Force based on force posture elements and operational activity. The model gives Air Force planners a rapid method of systematically comparing the energy impact of present and alternative programs, the effects of changed flying activities, and current and hypothetical weapon systems.
