Electrical Resistivity of Sandstone.

Abstract

The electrical resistivity of Mixed Company sandstone was investigated experimentally under confining pressure at room temperature. Both the effect of confining pressure (to 9 kbar) and the effect of stress (to 8 kbar) were investigated separately, as was the role of saturation and the freedom of pore fluids to be expelled during compression.
