Heavy Lift Helicopter - Cargo Handling ATC Program. Volume II. Fabrication of Test Hardware and Fixtures (Integrated Test Rig)

Abstract

This report formally documents the efforts and results of the cargo handling system segment of the Heavy Lift Helicopter (HLH) Advanced Technology Component (ATC) development program. The purpose of the HLH/ATC was to minimize technical, cost and schedule risks associated with future HLH system research development, test and evaluation (RDTE) and production programs. This was achieved by design, fabrication, and testing of specific ATC hardware in three critical air vehicle subsystems: rotor/drive system, flight control system, and cargo handling system. This report covers only the cargo handling system.
