Investigation of Small Turbine Aerodynamics.

Abstract

The main objective of this research work was to study the following problems in association with axial flow turbomachinery: (1) Cascade losses; (2) off-design behavior for compressor; (3) erosion phenomena and solid particle trajectories; and (4) a new concept for reduction of secondary losses in small turbine quide vanes.
