Design and Operation of a Dual Role Slipmeter Assembly.
Abstract
The design and operation of a slipmeter circuit for use during vehicle drawbar pull versus slip trials is presented. The circuit has been designed to operate in either of two modes: i.e., it can be used as a single entity or can be switched to operate as two independent circuits. In one mode it can supply visual information relative to vehicle velocity and track (or wheel) slip to the driver of a vehicle. In the second mode it provides similar visual data and can also supply input signals for a data recording system.
