Abstract
The report contains the tabulated physical, chemical, and biological data obtained during Cruises 075 and 076 of the R/V Thomas G. Thompson. These cruises were designed to investigate the influence of surface biological production on the metabolism and biomass of the deep sea and to determine possible relationships between metabolism and oxygen concentration in the deep ocean. The various observations, methods of collection, and analyses are described.
