Complex Metal Hydrides. High Energy Fuel Components for Solid Propellant Rocket Motors.

Abstract

During the contract period work has continued on the preparation and structure elucidation of simple and complex metal hydrides of the main group elements. The new hydrides Mg(ZnH3)2 and MgZnH4 are reported for the first time as well as new and simple routes for the preparation of complex metal hydrides of beryllium; e.g. Li2BeH4 and Li3BeH5.
